The unframed glass-glass Q-Cells SL1 module achieves a solar efficiency of up to 12%, making it currently unbeaten by any other thin-film module on the market. It’s available in performance categories up to 85Wp positively sorted in +5W steps. This means that the measured output of the 85Wp category is actually between 85Wp and 90Wp.

Modules are permanently protected from the elements by a stable glass-glass composite with proven edge sealing. With a front pane of 4mm tempered safety glass (TSG), the laminate thickness is just 7.4mm. This stable design minimises module breakage rates during transport and installation.

The unframed SL1 modules demonstrate their superiority primarily on roofs with a low incline: their high efficiency enables high overall output since their good performance in low and oblique light and their efficient self-cleaning result in superb yields. The SL1 modules are thus ideally suited for solar installations on flat industry and hall roofs.
